Middle Gobi [18-21 June 2019]

After a few restful days at the River Point Lodge near Ulaanbaatar we headed south towards the Gobi. After just 200 km we saw the first camels and Margit almost lost her head taking pictures. On our way down we visited the nature reserves Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a small mountain range with striking rock formations, and Tsagaan Suvarga, an area where erosion has created a fascinating landscape in the middle of nowhere.
